In addition to technology licensing and equipment supply, Emery offers a full range of feasibility, engineering and project implementation services. This helps project developers minimize contracting relationships in order to focus on capital fund raising for the project. During engineering, we use the standards of ‘front-end loading’ (FEL) staged engineering, which at each phase, provides increasingly detailed project definition and capital and operating cost estimates. This enables project owners to take incremental engineering steps that are aligned with development progress necessary to effectively engage with project stakeholders. Emery can also work with owners’ engineers who are often responsible for overall project engineering responsibility, but who may not bring expertise in the domain of gasification and pyrolysis fields.
